Amy Wiesenhutter

Amy, a native Texan, is an Adapted Physical Education Teacher in Pflugerville ISD and has been for the last 22 years. She is also the school district’s Special Olympics coordinator. Amy feels blessed to be able to combine her passion of sports my love for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has been involved in Special Olympics in various capacities since she was 12 years old.

Nicki Huschka Unified

Nicki has been a Special Olympics Volunteer for the last 32 years and has served in various capacities. Nicki has coached the last 25 years and finds it incredibly rewarding. She loves that she can provide a safe, competitive, and fun experience for Special Olympics Athletes and Unified Partners in creating a world of inclusion for those with intellectual disabilities. She gets great joy watching Athletes achieve their goals no matter how big or small.

Zach Wilkinson

Zach Wilkinson

Zach is a rising senior at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, Texas. In addition to playing soccer, he competes in bowling, basketball, and track. He will be competing as part of Team Texas at the Special Olympics National Summer Games 2022 in Orlando, Florida. Zach also enjoys video games, movies, and playing with his tuxedo cat, Leopard.

Christian Bradshaw

Christian Bradshaw

Christian is a senior at Leander High School. Christian is a member of the Leander Lazers team. Not only does he play soccer for the Lazers, but also competes in basketball and runs track. In his free time he enjoys playing video games, watching movies and swimming.

Parker Matthews is from Fort Worth but is currently an athlete with Austin Parks and Rec. He loves playing soccer, especially goalie! In his free time Parker enjoys hanging out with friends and meeting new people. He is super excited to be playing with Austin FC.

Daulton Swenson

Daulton Swenson

Daulton is a graduate of Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, Texas. He is very active in Special Olympics. In addition to Unified Soccer, Daulton participates in Aquatics, Unified Golf, Unified Bowling, Basketball, Track & Field, and Flag Football. He is currently a Member of the Team Texas Flag Football team who will compete in the USA Special Olympic Games in Orlando, Florida in June 2022.

Gavin Shipp

Gavin Shipp

Gavin is a graduating Senior this year from Hutto High School. He loves participating in Special Olympic sports like bowling, cheerleading, bocce ball, track, football and his favorite basketball. He volunteers to serve the homeless, goes to youth group at church, and in a part of Say Cheese program for special needs adults that sell soup, sandwiches, & drinks.

Lance Sorensen

Lance is in his first year competing with the delegation Dripping Springs YMCA. He has a blast playing all sports including soccer, bocce ball, basketball, bowling and track. He enjoys playing on a team and working together to reach different goals. Being healthy, active and having fun is what he enjoys most.

Hannah Duncan

Hannah Duncan

Hannah is 21 and she lives in Hutto with her parents and two Boston Terriers, Ace and Bullet. Hannah loves participating in all of the Special Olympics events such as cheerleading, basketball, track, bowling, and bocce ball. She enjoys family trips in the RV, live concerts, musicals, the opera, and ballet.

Matthew Wells

Matthew Wells

Matthew graduated from Stony Point HS in 2018. He currently works at Planet Fitness and goes to school ACC -STEPS PROGRAM. Matthew loves being an athlete with Special Olympics and participating in various sports like Basketball, Track & Field, Flag Football, Soccer, Swimming, Bowling & Powerlifting. This year he will attend 2022 USA Games - Team Texas Basketball in Orlando, FL. Matthew truly enjoys being part of Special Olympics because he likes seeing and spending time with his friends and making new friends.

Matthew Weiser

Matthew Weiser

Matthew graduated from Katy High School. He enjoys spending his days taking care of the dogs, horses, and gardening in Dripping Springs. Prior to joining Austin FC, Matthew played 4 years for the Houston Dynamo unified team. In addition to playing soccer, Matthew competes in volleyball, track, softball, basketball, swimming and bowling. Matthew will also be competing in volleyball at Nationals in Orlando.

Ashton Crocker

Ashton Crocker

Ashton Crocker is 24 and lives at home with his mom and little sister. He loves to weld and make different things with horse shoes. Ashton participates in soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, and flag football in the Special Olympics. He will be a part of Team Texas Soccer team to represent Texas at the USA games in Florida this June. He enjoys fishing, camping and taking his dog to the park.

Kennedy is currently a senior at Hendrickson High School and will be a freshman at the University of Texas A&M at Galveston in the fall. Kennedy has played 8 years of club soccer and 2 years as a Unified Partner for Special Olympics Texas. Kennedy will be representing Team Texas in Unified Soccer at the Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando, Florida and is very excited about joining the SOTX Austin FC team.

Ike is a Sophomore at Brentwood Christian School where he has played Varsity soccer for 2 years.. Ike enjoys sharing his love of soccer with younger children as a junior coach. He is honored to be selected to assist as a Unified Partner with the Special Olympians to help them reach their potential on the soccer pitch while growing new friendships with athletes and soccer fans all over the world.

Nate is a junior at Round Rock High School. Outside of soccer, he runs cross country and is a member of several clubs. He also enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and dogs, Cato and Logan.

Mariza is a senior at Hendrickson High School where she is a captain of the Hendrickson High School girls varsity soccer team. She also plays for Sting Austin Soccer Club. This fall, she will be attending Texas State University. She is super excited to be joining the SOTX Austin FC team!

Mady Zamora

Mady received her undergraduate degree from Texas State University in 2021, and is currently finishing her first year as a master's program student at the University of Texas. She has been involved in Special Olympics since she was about 10 years old in a variety of ways such as volunteering, being a unified partner, coaching, and her favorite, being a fan and cheerleader for her friends and family.

Kendra Zamora

Kendra Zamora

Kendra is currently a sophomore at Weiss High School. She has played soccer since she was 2 and involved with Special Olympics since she was in middle school, coaching the soccer team and volunteering wherever she is needed. Kendra enjoys fixing things, riding horses, and spending time with family and friends.
