During Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept 15 – Oct 15), Austin FC proudly celebrates the many local Latino leaders who help shape our city, a commitment the Club champions year-round. Austin FC will host its annual Hispanic Heritage Night during the match against the Seattle Sounders FC on September 21. The match will include Mariachi Voz de Pasión performing at various locations, including Telco Terrace during Q2’s pre-match, an instrumental version of the U.S. National Anthem, and other special activities.

The stadium will be adorned with Hispanic Heritage–themed graphics, and the First Team will take to the pitch wearing specialized kit numbers in celebration of the Club’s fifth annual Hispanic Heritage Night. The custom numbers, which depict the colors, vibrancy, and textures of native flowers and plants, give a celebratory nod to the varied cultures of Latin America. Sylvia Orozco, co-founder and Executive Director of Mexic-Arte Museum, will also lead the Heartbeat of Austin chant before kickoff, honoring her decades of impact on the community.

The Club’s 2025 Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations have also included the Verde Store Round-Up benefitting Más Cultura (running from August 1 through September 30), the O’Reilly Veloz y Verde Auto Meet-Up at Q2 Stadium, and an empowerment panel hosted by Kendra Scott that brought Latina athletes together for mentorship and community connection.
