This Pride Month, Austin FC celebrates Trevor Scott—storyteller, advocate, and a vibrant voice in Austin’s LGBTQ+ community.
As co-host of We Are Austinon CBS Austin, Trevor shines a light on local culture, queer-owned businesses, and community organizations.
“I came up in a time when you really didn’t find much authentic queer representation on TV,” he says. “That’s why it’s important to me that a young person can turn on the TV right here in Central Texas and see someone like them living happily, honestly, and authentically.”
Trevor’s passion for storytelling is rooted in advocacy. He lifts underrepresented voices and brings awareness into every interview. Off-camera, he encourages others to stay active, present, and proud too.
“Show up. Don’t shrink. Share your joy and your gifts with your community and we’ll all be better for it.”
He also reminds us that support shouldn’t stop in June. “Practice consistent, year-round support. Every little bit counts.”
