Luke Martinez is excited for the opportunity to play with the Austin FC Unified Team this year. He has been a proud member of the Leander Lazers Special Olympics program for more than seven years and participates in a variety of sports including bowling, soccer, tennis, powerlifting, basketball, and track. Â
Luke loves being part of a team, learning new skills, and continuing to grow as an athlete. What he enjoys most about sports, however, is the friendships he has built along the way—many of which have become lasting and meaningful. When he’s not competing or practicing, Luke enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his dogs. He is also a huge Godzilla fan and loves anything related to the legendary monster.
