Wolff's Header Helps Austin FC to Draw with Dallas

report

Owen Wolff scored for the third time in Austin FC’s last four (4) matches as the Verde & Black drew 1-1 with FC Dallas on Saturday night at Q2 Stadium.

ATXFC had the better chances throughout the first half but it was the visitors who took the lead in the 37th minute, when a deflected shot by Shaq Moore rolled in.

Austin’s attacking intent was rewarded soon after halftime. Mikkel Desler swung in a cross from the right wing and Wolff outjumped a Dallas defender at the back post to head the ball home.

Neither side found the net again as ATXFC extended its unbeaten streak to six (6) matches in all competitions.
