Austin FC midfielder Owen Wolff was voted to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday and winger Osman Bukari earned a spot on the Team of the Matchday bench for their roles in the team’s 3-1 home win over San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night at Q2 Stadium. Wolff earns his Club-high fifth Team of the Matchday honor of 2025, while Bukari gets his second nod.
Wolff assisted Bukari for the opener, marking the fifth time this season the pair have combined for a goal – four (4) of which have come in the team’s last five (5) matches. Both players now have 12 goal contributions across all competitions this season, tied for the team lead.
In addition to scoring, Bukari had a hand in Austin’s other two goals, creating the opportunity for Myrto Uzuni to tap in the second and playing the pass that caused a San Jose own goal for the third.
