Austin FC midfielder Owen Wolff was voted to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday and winger Osman Bukari was named to the Team of the Matchday bench for their roles in the team’s 4-2 away win over D.C. United at Audi Field. Wolff earns his third Team of the Matchday honor of 2025 while Bukari earns his first.
Both players tallied a goal and an assist, with Wolff scoring a towering header before halftime and Bukari finishing off an excellent team move on the other side of the break. Between them, Wolff (seven) and Bukari (six) now have 13 of the team’s 27 total assists in all competitions this season.
Austin FC is 4-1-1 in league play since the start of June, a stretch which also includes a penalty shootout win in the U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals.
