Austin FC defender Guilherme Biro was voted to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday for his role in the team’s 2-1 win against New York Red Bulls on Saturday at Q2 Stadium. Biro earns his first Team of the Matchday honor of 2025.
Biro netted his second goal for the Verde & Black this season in the 6th minute of the match. The Brazilian finished off an excellent ball back in the box from Owen Wolff following an initial corner. Biro rose up to find the cross and head it to find the back of the net.
