Ahead of the U.S. Open Cup Final at Q2 Stadium on Wednesday, October 1, Austin FC will host a free-to-attend Pre-Match Party at Live Oak Park beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT. Live Oak Park is located immediately adjacent to Q2 Stadium, outside the stadium’s east stand.
The event will feature $4 Michelob Ultra, live music by Austin’s own award-winning Latin-Funk band Brownout as well as local DJ collective Peligrosa, and food trucks. There will also be pick-up soccer, Club merchandise, guest appearances from Speedbump the Armadillo and Austin FC’s official luchador Verdisimo, activities for kids, and more. No ticket is required.
Local media are encouraged to attend the event and conduct pre-match live hits or content gathering prior to entering Q2 Stadium. Please inform Austin FC communications staff (contact information above) if intending to do so.
The U.S. Open Cup Final kicks off at 7:00 p.m. CT on October 1 as Austin FC hosts Nashville SC in the Club’s first major tournament final. The U.S. Open Cup is the oldest national soccer tournament in the United States, structured as a single elimination knockout tournament featuring 96 teams from various professional, semi-professional, and amateur levels. The winner will lift the U.S. Open Cup trophy and qualify for the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup.
