Austin FC Continues Nourish ATX Initiative

On November 22, Austin FC continued its commitment to promoting sustainability initiatives in Central Texas, distributing free cilantro plants grown by local farmers at Sustainable Food Center’s (SFC) Farmer’s Market at Republic through the Nourish ATX program.

"Being intentional about sourcing our food locally is a small yet powerful step toward making our community healthier,” said Austin FC VP of Community Impact Trennis Jones. “We’re grateful to partner with H-E-B to bring Nourish ATX to the Sustainable Food Center’s Downtown Farmer’s Market."

Nourish ATX, powered by H-E-B, is a part of Evergreen, the Austin FC and YETI platform amplifying sustainability initiatives. Nourish ATX celebrates the importance of locally sourcing food to sustain community health. In addition to its partnership with H-E-B, Austin FC collaborated with Sustainable Food Center (SFC), an Austin-based nonprofit, to tell the story behind the local food system’s effort to nourish our community's health, land, and livelihood.
