The Austin FC Academy is hosting three free clinics for young goalkeepers in Central Texas alongside local youth clubs Cap City Soccer Club, AC Riverside, and San Antonio City.
The clinics are jointly organized by goalkeeping coaches from the Austin FC Academy and the youth clubs involved. Players participating in the clinics have the opportunity to learn from the Austin FC Academy’s staff about the training methodologies utilized by an MLS academy.
The first clinic took place with AC Riverside on May 30, and two more will happen this week on June 5 and June 6 with Cap City and SA City.
The Austin FC Academy plans to execute similar clinics in the future with the aim of supporting the local youth soccer community and building strong relationships with local clubs to help further the development of young players in the region.
