“We’re incredibly proud of our efforts in 2025, but our work wouldn’t be possible without the help of so many of our partners and community members,” said 4ATX Foundation Executive Director Kaitlin Mauro. “We’re eager to carry this momentum into 2026 and to continue serving Central Texas families through the power of soccer.”

4ATX programs and initiatives served over 1,500 young people throughout 2025, a year in which Jon Gallagher became the first-ever Austin FC player to join the 4ATX Board of Directors.

In addition, 4ATX announced the formation of the Verde Pitch Alliance alongside Street Soccer USA, Soccer Assist and Austin Parks Foundation – committing an initial $2M investment to bring more free, public soccer spaces across the region. The Verde Pitch Alliance completed a refurbishment of the soccer practice field at Huston-Tillotson University as part of the 2025 MLS All-Star Week Celebration and the 10th mini-pitch constructed in partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation at Dailey Middle School in Del Valle ISD.

Verde Leaders, 4ATX’s flagship program providing free soccer training and social-emotional learning for middle school students, received a $100,000 grant as part of the Siete Juntos Fund, further strengthening the program as a youth leadership pathway for years to come.  The first-ever Verde Futures: Leadership in Motion trip took 5 Verde Leaders to New York City to visit MLS, NYCFC and POWERADE offices to explore the world of sports business and business leadership.
