Austin FC’s nonprofit arm 4ATX Foundation, Soccer Assist, and partners Q2 Holdings, Inc., U.S. Soccer Foundation and Del Valle ISD, unveiled a new soccer mini-pitch at Dailey Middle School in Del Valle, Texas, on Tuesday, October 14. This is the second project completed under the Verde Pitch Alliance, a group of like-minded organizations working together to expand access to soccer for all across Central Texas. It also marks the 10th mini-pitch constructed by 4ATX in collaboration with the U.S. Soccer Foundation.

“We are so proud to finally bring one of our free and public soccer spaces to the Del Valle community,” said Kaitlin Mauro, 4ATX Foundation Executive Director. “This community loves soccer and it’s a wonderful addition to our network of places where families can connect and play right in their own neighborhood.”

“This new mini-pitch at Dailey Middle School is more than just a field — it’s a space for students to play, practice teamwork, and build healthy habits, while welcoming families from the community.” Said Del Valle Superintendent Dr. Matthew Gutierrez. “Its presence strengthens school and neighborhood pride and creates a hub for connection and activity."“Seeing another mini pitch come to life, this time in Del Valle, reminds us why we do this work,” said Aaron Rochlen, Ph.D., Founder of Soccer Assist. “It’s about giving kids a safe, inspiring space to play, grow, and belong. And Soccer Assist is just thrilled to be along for the ride”

“At Q2, our mission is to build strong and diverse communities by strengthening their financial institutions, and our partnership with Austin FC and 4ATX Foundation enables us to extend that reach in Central Texas,” said Q2 Chief People Officer Kim Rutledge. “The Del Valle Mini-Pitch is a perfect example of what’s possible when local partners come together to create opportunities, foster connection and make a lasting difference. We’re grateful to 4ATX Foundation, Soccer Assist, and the U.S. Soccer Foundation for their leadership in expanding access to play in our communities.”

With community and corporate partners, 4ATX Foundation has built 12 soccer spaces since 2019, impacting more than 600,000 Central Texans. To see a map of all the soccer spaces in Central Texas which 4ATX Foundation has helped install, visit www.austinfc.com/pitches.
