Austin FC forward Myrto Uzuni was voted to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday bench for his role in the team’s 3-1 home win over Seattle Sounders FC on Wednesday night at Q2 Stadium.
Uzuni tallied a goal and an assist in five minutes apart as part of a late-game surge which saw ATXFC claim victory. In the 86th minute, he finished from close range off an assist from Ervin Torres to break the deadlock, and player a role in the buildup for Austin’s third goal scored by Christian Ramirez. He leads the team in goals (6) and goal contributions (11) thus far this season.
