Austin FC forward Myrto Uzuni was selected to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday for his role in the team’s 2-1 away win over Sporting Kansas City on Saturday night at Sporting Park.
With Austin trailing in the second half, Uzuni scored in the 64th and 86th minutes to flip the game on its head and secure a vital three points which keep ATXFC alive in their hunt for a place in the MLS Cup Playoffs. Uzuni now has 13 goals and 20 goal contributions across all competitions in 2026, ranking first on the team in both categories.
