Austin FC forward Myrto Uzuni was announced as Leagues Cup 2026 Top Scorer presented by AT&T, after he scored four goals in four matches to finish with the tournament’s joint most goals alongside Club León’s Daniel Arcila.
Uzuni played a major part in Austin’s run to reach the quarterfinals, recording at least one goal contribution in all three of the team’s Phase One matches. He assisted Joseph Rosales for ATXFC’s opening goal in a 2-0 win over Tijuana before scoring the second-ever hattrick in Club history in a 3-0 victory over Puebla, with all three goals coming within a 30-minute span.
He then netted a crucial equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Club América, finding the far post in spectacular fashion. That goal sent the match to a penalty shootout, which Austin won to secure the points necessary to finish as the No. 2 ranked MLS team out of the 18 which participated in Leagues Cup 2026.
