Austin FC returns home to Q2 Stadium to face San Jose Earthquakes in search of a second consecutive win on Saturday night. The match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT.

Austin FC Outlook

Following a coast-to-coast road stretch last week in both Leagues Cup and MLS play, Austin FC now prepares for back-to-back home games beginning Saturday night against San Jose. The Verde & Black have picked up seven points from their last three league matches, emerging victorious against Portland last time out thanks to Oleksandr Svatok’s late winner. Austin claimed wins in both of its two recent road contests in the PNW and will look to complete the sweep against Vancouver later this month.

First though, Austin turns its attention toward the Earthquakes. ATXFC will look to replicate the results of its home meetings with San Jose from the previous two seasons, which Austin won 4-3 in 2024 and 3-1 in 2025.

Facundo Torres has started to heat up, scoring in two out of Austin’s last three MLS regular season matches, while Joseph Rosales has provided an assist in each of the last two.

San Jose Earthquakes Outlook

San Jose travels to Austin coming off a 0-0 draw against Houston Dynamo at Shell Energy Stadium. Prior to the draw, SJ suffered a four-game losing streak, but due to an excellent run of form ahead of the World Cup break, the team still finds itself in fourth place in the Western Conference.

Interestingly, the Quakes have fared better on the road this season than at home, picking up 20 points from 11 away games. Preston Judd is the team’s current leading goal scorer with 11 goals, while former German international winger Timo Werner has contributed six.

Austin will need to shut down Judd, Werner, and the rest of San Jose’s attack to secure another win and continue pushing toward the playoffs.
