Austin FC Academy teams were on the road this weekend, facing tough competition and earning key wins in Houston and Atlanta.
U-14s Earn Strong Road Win
The U-14s secured a 4-1 victory over Houston Rangers. Alexander Kilpatrick opened the scoring in the 21st minute, followed by Braylon Marin (32'), and Enrique Balboa (44') before halftime. Ari Kaplun added a late goal in the 78th minute to cap the performance.
U-13s Rally for Victory
The U-13s recorded a 3-2 win against Houston Rangers with a quick scoring burst in the second half. Alex Leyva (55'), Mohamed Sillah (56'), and Antonio Quiroga (65') each found the net to complete the comeback.
U-16s Secure Late Winner
The U-16s earned a 1-0 win versus Atlanta United. Luke Garcia scored the decisive goal in the 80th minute as the group held firm defensively to see out the result.
U-18s Find Two in Competitive Match
The U-18s dropped a 3-2 result against Atlanta United. David Romero (60') and Christian Ayala (82') both scored as the team battled in a hard-fought matchup.
U-15s Gain Experience in Atlanta
The U-15s fell 3-0 at Atlanta United in a challenging away match. Austin FC Academy teams continue to grow and gain valuable experience as the season moves forward.
