Austin FC Academy Recap — Feb. 1-2, 2026

Austin FC Academy teams returned to action this weekend following the break, highlighted by impressive victories for the U-18s and U-16s on the road. 

U-18s Dominate Houston 5-1

The U-18s delivered a commanding 5-1 win against one of Houston's strongest squads, even without players currently with the first and second Austin FC teams. Goals came from Aiden Hale (15'), Andrey Yeager (48'), David Romero (60'), Lucas Hernandez (82'), and Nicolas Rojas (87'), highlighting depth and quality across the roster. 

U-16s claim 4-3 Win at Houston 

The U-16s battled to a 4-3 victory over Houston Dynamo, with goals from Roberto Monarres (10'), Clayton Glynn (55'), and Rocco Viana (75', 80'). Austin FC controlled much of the match and showed composure in a back-and-forth contest. 

U-15s Gain Experience on the Road 

The U-15s fell 6-0 to Houston Dynamo in a challenging matchup. The group faced a strong opponent but gained valuable experience as the season progresses. Austin FC Academy teams keep developing, competing, and making their mark in 2026.
