On Thursday, April 9, 2026, Austin FC hosted its 3rd Annual Sports Leadership Summit at Q2 Stadium’s Beer Hall. The event brought together students from local schools and programs for a 90-minute experience focused on sports industry leadership and career pathways.
Designed to offer an inside look at the many roles that make up a professional sports organization, the summit featured Austin FC executives across events, art, human resources, and community impact, highlighting the diverse paths that exist within the industry and the experiences that shaped their careers.
The panel was moderated by Trennis Jones, Vice President of Community Impact, and featured:
Audrey Bounds – Vice President, Events
Arturo Guzman – Art Director
Susana Wolfe – Senior Vice President, Human Resources
The 90-minute session included a one-hour panel discussion followed by a 30-minute networking session, giving students the opportunity to connect directly with club leaders, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of potential career paths in the sports industry.
