The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) today announced Q2 Stadium as a host venue for the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup, the confederationā€™s flagship menā€™s national team championship.

Q2 Stadium has previously hosted one (1) Concacaf Gold Cup match: a 1-0 win for the United States Menā€™s National Team over Qatar in the 2021 Gold Cup semifinals. Current Austin FC forward Gyasi Zardes scored the winning goal in that match.

ā€œHaving hosted a match in the previous edition of the Gold Cup and Copa AmĆ©rica matches this past summer, Austin has clearly established itself as a top destination for high-profile international soccer tournaments,ā€ said Austin FC President Andy Loughnane. ā€œItā€™s exciting news for soccer fans in Central Texas that weā€™ll once again have some of the regionā€™s top national teams playing at Q2 Stadium next summer.ā€

The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup will be played next summer in 14 stadiums across the U.S. and Canada between June 14 and July 6. Concacaf will confirm specific match venue allocations at a later date. Austin FC Oak Collective Season Ticket Members and Waitlist Members will receive access to a ticket pre-sale for Gold Cup matches at Q2 Stadium once ticketing information is announced.

ā€œI want to thank all 14 of the host stadiums and cities for their immense support for the Gold Cup, for Concacaf and their commitment to supporting the growth of the game in our region,ā€ said Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani.

The tournament will begin with a 16-team Group Stage ā€“ four groups of four teams each. After round-robin play, between June 14-24, the four group winners and four runners-up (eight teams in total) will advance to the Knockout Stage.

The Knockout Stage will commence with the Quarterfinals on June 28 and 29, followed by the Semifinals on Wednesday, July 2, and the Final, where the Confederationā€™s new champion will be crowned, on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Concacaf will conduct the official draw for the 2025 Gold Cup Group on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
