Austin FC played to a 2-2 draw with Chicago Fire FC in a preseason match at the Coachella Valley Invitational on Wednesday.
After falling behind early, Robert Taylor leveled the match with a terrific right-footed shot from outside the penalty area. The Verde & Black then grabbed the lead in the second half when Jayden Nelson expertly finished off a one-on-one chance with the Chicago goalkeeper, before the Fire equalized in the final minutes.
