Austin FC fell 2-1 to Louisville City FC at Lynn Family Stadium on Tuesday night.

Louisville applied pressure early, breaking through to take the lead in the 26th minute from a corner kick. The home side then doubled their advantage six (6) minutes later.

ATXFC pushed forward in the second half and reduced the deficit in the 70th minute when CJ Fodrey headed in a well-delivered free kick from Joseph Rosales. Ultimately though, the visitors’ comeback effort came up just short. Goalkeeper Damian Las made his Austin FC debut on the night and tallied five (5) saves.
