Austin FC fell in a 2-1 defeat against LA Galaxy on Saturday afternoon at Q2 Stadium.

Christian Ramirez tested LA goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski early with a low shot that forced a save. The Galaxy then took the lead in the 34th minute from a corner kick headed in by Maya Yoshida.

The visitors doubled their advantage in the 78th minute, and although Myrto Uzuni answered with an excellent half-volley in the 85th, ATXFC ultimately came up short.
