Austin FC goalkeeper Damian Las was voted to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday bench for his role in the team’s 2-1 away win over Seattle Sounders FC on Wednesday night at Lumen Field.
Las made his MLS debut in the match and tallied six saves, including diving stops against Seattle strikers Danny Musovski in the 61st minute and Albert Rusnák in the 85th. Las has been with Austin FC since 2022, winning the MLS NEXT Pro title and MLS NEXT Pro Goalkeeper of the Year award with Austin FC II in 2023 before spending two seasons on loan at Louisville City FC.
