Jenny Just, Owner

Jenny Just is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of PEAK6 Investments, a financial services and technology firm headquartered in Austin. Jenny co-founded PEAK6 in 1997 as a proprietary options trading firm and has since grown it into a multibillion-dollar financial services and technology giant that houses PEAK6 Capital Management, PEAK6 Strategic Capital, Apex Fintech Solutions, Team Focus Insurance Group, We Insure, Evil Geniuses, Zogo, and Poker Power.

Jenny has forged a long and successful track record in global soccer with her husband and business partner, Matt Hulsizer. They previously held ownership stakes in AFC Bournemouth when the club earned promotion to the English Premier League for the first time in 125 years; in Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. from 2021 to 2024, a span in which the team competed in the Premier League; and in Dundalk F.C., which made history during their tenure by becoming the first Irish club to qualify for the group stages of the UEFA Europa League on two occasions.

Jenny's passion lies in creating pathways for women to succeed at every table—from the classroom, to the conference room, to the poker room, to the boardroom. This inspired her to launch Poker Power in 2020 with her daughter, Juliette. The company unlocks the power of poker to transform professional and personal lives through life skills such as strategic thinking, risk intelligence, and decision making. Within PEAK6 she also created the Women’s Trading Experience and Women’s Technology Experience, and she currently serves on the Women and Public Policy Program Board at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Jenny’s remarkable success has earned her a number of accolades, including being selected as a 2025 CNBC Changemaker and being named to Forbes’ list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women, Forbes 50 over 50, and Worth’s Groundbreaking Women. She was also the recipient of the Women’s Poker Association’s Industry Innovation Recognition Award and received a Tony Award for her involvement in the musical "Memphis."

Jenny earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. She and Matt moved to Austin in January 2025.
