Originally from Utiel, Spain, joined Austin FC from D.C. United where he was the Academy U15 Head Coach for the ’18-’19 season, and the U19 Head Coach for the ’19-’20 season, as well as an Assistant Coach for D.C. United’s first team in both seasons.
Cano’s previous experience includes his tenure with Villareal CF S.A.D Academy in Spain for 7 years and the SK Slavia Praha U21 Academy team in the Czech Republic. Cano has a Masters degree in Sports Science and holds a UEFA Pro coaching license. He is currently working on obtaining a EFCL license.
