Austin FC has partnered with FOX 7 Austin (KTBC), the city’s FOX television station and official FIFA World Cup 2026™ broadcaster, to deliver FOX 7 Match Day Powered by Austin FC.
FOX 7 Match Day, a dedicated magazine-style show hosted by FOX 7’s Dennis de la Peña and featuring former U.S. Men’s National Team and Austin FC forward Gyasi Zardes, will air weekly throughout the World Cup in June and July. The show will provide fans with analysis, storytelling, and behind-the-scenes perspectives of the tournament, with the first episode airing tonight, June 4, at 5:30 p.m. CT.
The June 11 episode will air live on a large video screen at the Austin Soccer Celebration at Auditorium Shores, in between live viewings of the first two (2) matches of the tournament (Mexico vs. South Africa at 2:00 p.m. CT and South Korea vs. Czechia at 9:00 p.m. CT). Fans can register to attend the event for free at austinfc.com/soccercelebration.
Zardes has the 10th-most goals in Major League Soccer history with 106 and played two (2) seasons for Austin FC in 2023 and 2024. He scored 14 goals in 68 senior international appearances for the United States and was a member of the U.S. Men’s National Teams which won the 2017 and 2021 Concacaf Gold Cups.
