Club América To Face Tigres UANL In Tour Águila Match at Q2 Stadium

PRIMETIME Sports and Club América officially announced on Monday that Tour Águila will return to Austin for the second time, when Club América faces fellow Liga MX side Tigres UANL at Q2 Stadium on Sunday, September 10.

“We’re delighted to welcome Club América and Tour Águila back to Q2 Stadium once again,” said Austin FC President Andy Loughnane. “Both América and Tigres have passionate fan support at home in Mexico and here in Texas, and this match gives those fans from Texas another chance to see their teams live.”

Austin FC Oak Collective Season Ticket members will have access to a ticket pre-sale beginning at 10 a.m. CT on Thursday, July 20, while Waitlist members have access to a pre-sale at 2 p.m. CT on the same day. Tickets go on-sale to the public at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, July 21.

Club América has won 13 league titles in its history, while Tigres UANL is Liga MX’s current champion and has won six (6) league titles in the last 12 years. Both teams have played at Q2 Stadium before, with América facing C.F. Monterrey in March 2022 and Tigres matching up against Austin FC in a friendly in July 2021.

Prior to the match, a Fan Fest will take place prior outside the stadium consisting of live music, food, team mascots, championship trophies, and much more.
