Austin FC forward Christian Ramirez was voted to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday bench for his role in the team’s 2-0 home win over St. Louis City SC on Sunday evening at Q2 Stadium.
Ramirez recorded a goal and an assist in a 12-minute span to help ATXFC earn its second consecutive victory. He headed in a cross from Dani Pereira for the opening goal in the 69th minute, and set up Myrto Uzuni in the 81st. He has totaled three (3) goals and an assist in just 461 minutes since joining the Verde & Black on February 27.
Sunday’s performance brought Ramirez’s career goal contribution tally in MLS to 80 (58g, 22a).
