Chef Sam Boisjoly Highlights Best Food Items at Q2 Stadium for Oct. 24 Match

If you want to experience the best of Austin, Texas cuisine all in one place, Q2 Stadium might just be the best place to do it. With help from 512 Food Co. Executive Chef Sam Boisjoly, a curated range of concession fare is available for all fans making their way through the gates for a match at the home of Austin FC.

For this weekend’s fixture vs. Houston Dynamo, Chef Boisjoly has shared his specialty match day selections.

Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ | Section 137

Say it slowly: Mesquite. Smoked. Beef. Shank. Torta. Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ is serving up this specialty with tomatillo avocado crema, their fire-roasted gangster salsa and pico de gallo.

Casa Chapala | Section 121

Rounding out the headliners is Casa Chapala and their “Quesabirria”: slow-roasted brisket, dried Mexican chiles, Oaxacan melted cheese, toasted in a flour tortilla and served with spicy salsa, chopped onion and cilantro. How ‘bout that for a stadium meal?

Bao’d Up | Section 118

One of the finest vegetarian options on offer this weekend comes courtesy of Bao’d Up, a modern Asian eatery in Austin. They’re bringing their “Creamy Veggie” to the party, a vegan bao bun packed with chopped broccoli, cabbage, edamame and vegan cheese and seared to perfection. Don’t sleep on the spicy vegan mayo and coleslaw on the side.
