Austin FC’s Inaugural Season may be coming to a close, but Chef Sam Boisjoly of 512 Food Co. is set to go out with a bang at Q2 Stadium.
Chef Sam and Q2 Stadium have it it all, but he’s selected three, must-try specialty dishes for the Season Finale.
Tostada Yucateca, OneTaco (Section 107)
First up is the Tostada Yucateca from OneTaco. The homemade corn tostada is topped with black beans, cochinita pibil, pickled onions and pickled onions with habanero. The Yucateca Taco at OneTaco was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Vegan Sonoran Dog, T-Loc’s Sonoran Hot Dogs (Section 119)
There’s a handful of vegan and vegetarian options at Q2 Stadium, and this is one of Chef Sam’s favorites. This vegan grilled hot dog is well-dressed with pinto beans, diced and sautéed onions, roma tomatoes, jalapeno sauce, veganaise and mustard.
Hatch Chili Queso Verde, Queso Fountain (Northeast Concourse)
Cheese, please. This basket of nachos cannot be topped: mesquite smoked BBQ brisket, pickled red onions, fresh cilantro, jalapenos and queso fresco. Only one thing can make this better: a margarita.
