Brad Matheny (born and raised in Florida), played from 4 years old at the YMCA, through club soccer, high school, college, USL PDL, USL D3 and exhibition games for the Tampa Bay Mutiny MLS. As a coach, he holds the USSF A, the National Youth, and the United Coaches State and Regional Goalkeeping licenses. Brad is a US Soccer Grassroots Coach Educator, ODP state Coach, Region 3 Coach and leads events for both US Youth & South Texas TOPSoccer and for Austin FC’s community outreach programs. In college, he majored in Psychology and Mass Communications. Now Brad lives in Georgetown with his beautiful wife and daughter, Heather and Sophia.
