AEG announced today the dates and participating teams for the 2027 Coachella Valley Invitational powered by Fundamental. Austin FC will take part in the event as part of its preseason preparation for the 2027 Major League Soccer sprint season, marking the fourth straight year Austin will compete at the event.
The 2027 CVI will take place from January 30 to February 13 at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Austin FC’s match dates are still to be confirmed. Other MLS teams competing include Charlotte FC, D.C. United, LAFC, LA Galaxy, Minnesota United, Portland Timbers, San Diego FC, San Jose Earthquakes, St. Louis City SC, and Toronto FC.
Additional details about the event, including match schedule, broadcast information, and media accreditation process will be released in the coming weeks. Austin FC’s full 2027 preseason schedule will be announced in January.
