AEG announced today the dates and participating teams for the 2026 Coachella Valley Invitational. Austin FC will take part in the event as part of its preseason preparation for the 2026 Major League Soccer season, marking the third straight year Austin will compete at the event.
The 2026 CVI will take place from February 7-21 at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Austin FC’s match dates are still to be confirmed. Other MLS teams competing include Charlotte FC, Chicago Fire FC, LAFC, Minnesota United, New York City FC, Portland Timbers, San Diego FC, San Jose Earthquakes, Sporting KC, and St. Louis City SC.
Additional details about the event, including match schedule, broadcast information, and media accreditation process will be released in the coming weeks. Austin FC’s full 2026 preseason schedule will be announced in January.
