Austin FC closed out a 10-day stint in southern California with a 3-3 draw against New York Red Bulls on Wednesday afternoon at the Coachella Valley Invitational.
Despite falling behind 2-0 in the first half, Jimmy Farkarlun pulled a goal back before halftime with an assist from Ethan Finlay. Diego Rubio then equalized in the 60th minute, and Jáder Obrian netted the another seven minutes later from a set piece. For all three players, it was their second goal in as many preseason matches, as each of the trio also scored in last Sunday's 3-1 victory over LA Galaxy.
The Red Bulls leveled the score in the 70th minute, and the match ended all square.
The Verde & Black will now return to Austin for their final preseason tune-up, facing New York City FC on Saturday, February 17.
