Austin FC announced today that midfielder Jhojan Valencia successfully underwent a procedure performed by Austin FC team orthopedist Dr. Doug Elenz to repair a torn lateral meniscus in his right knee, an injury which he suffered during a training session.
Austin FC signed Valencia as a transfer from Colombian side Deportivo Cali on January 13, 2022. This season, Valencia has made 10 appearances for the Verde & Black across all competitions, including three (3) starts.
