Austin FC kicked off its 2026 AISD en Verde powered by Capitol Chevrolet school visits with a stop at Guerrero Thompson Elementary on March 25.Â
The visit brought together fifth-grade students for a special campus event focused on literacy and key school values, featuring Austin FC First Team player Dani Pereira and Verdisimo.Â
As part of the program, Austin FC and 100 Black Men donated books from Black Pearl Bookstore to the school’s library. Students also received tickets to an upcoming Austin FC match at Q2 Stadium.Â
AISD en Verde school visits aim to encourage Title I students to succeed while strengthening connections across Central Texas communities.
