Austin FC announced today the addition of Terry Boss to the Club’s coaching staff. Boss rejoins the Club as an assistant coach through the end of the 2026 season, having served in the same role previously in 2023 and 2024.
Boss was the head coach of USL Championship side Lexington SC for the 2025 season. Prior to his first stint in Austin, he was the men’s soccer Head Coach at Oregon State University, where he twice earned Pac-12 Coach of the Year honors and led his team to a No. 1 national ranking in 2021.
Boss’ other previous experience includes time as Assistant Coach/Goalkeeper Coach for the United States Men’s National Team (2019), Associate Head Coach for the University of Virginia (2014-2017) and Assistant Coach for both Oregon State (2013-2014) and his alma mater, University of Tulsa (2012-2013).
Additionally, Nico Bosch is no longer with the Club as an assistant coach after serving in the role since January 2025.
