Austin FC today announced the Club’s English and Spanish language radio partners and talent for the 2024 season. As in 2023, all 34 of Austin FC’s 2024 MLS regular season matches will feature live local radio broadcasts on iHeartRadio’s Alt 97.5 in English and Univision’s TUDN Radio Austin (104.3-HD2, KLQB-FM) in Spanish.
Lincoln Rose will once again serve as the Club’s English language radio play-by-play announcer. Rose has 28 years of broadcasting experience and 12 years of experience calling soccer matches. He called Austin FC matches during the Club’s first three seasons in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
On Spanish language radio, Ignacio Araujo Escamilla enters his first season as the primary play-by-play announcer, having previously called Austin FC matches as an analyst on occasion during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Araujo has been working in various roles within Central Texas’ Spanish language radio landscape since 1999, and as a local radio personality, has long been a vocal supporter of soccer in the region.
