Austin FC Academy teams continued their season with a strong weekend of competition, highlighted by four wins and valuable opportunities to learn and grow across the pathway. U17s Build Early Lead 

The U17s defeated Capital City 4-2 after putting together a strong first half. Walter Lazo scored twice in the opening 11 minutes, both assisted by Luke Garcia, before Devin Daubon added a third in the 32nd minute off a Lazo assist. Garcia converted a penalty in the 59th to complete the scoring for Austin. The group showed strong build-out and progression early, finding space on the flanks and creating turnovers through its defensive pressure. U16s Control the Match 

The U16s earned a 4-1 victory over Capital City, taking control from the opening whistle and connecting well in possession to create attacking opportunities. Toby Trujillo opened the scoring in the 10th minute, assisted by Ibrahima Ba, followed by a brace from Easton Lester (44', 58'), with Marshall Miller assisting on the first and Mateo Gomez and Miller connecting on the second. Ari Kaplun added a late goal in the 90th minute. Despite conceding late, Austin responded with continued pressure and aggression to close out a strong performance. U15s Show Resilience in Penalty Shootout 

The U15s battled Capital City to a 1-1 draw in regulation before advancing 4-2 on penalties. After falling behind on a set piece, Austin continued to battle and found an equalizer through Belema Kemuel (60'), who scored his first goal for the club with an assist from Javier Martinez. Cade Huffman then came up big in goal, saving a penalty in regulation before stopping three more in the shootout to help secure the result. U14s Continue Strong Run 

The U14s earned a 5-2 victory over Capital City, taking advantage of space behind the opponent's high line to build an early lead. Alex Leyva (3'), Antonio Quiroga (23'), Aldo Barrera (28'), Matthew Newbrough (52'), and Gabriel Giacomazzi (62') all found the net, with the group showing greater patience and control after halftime. The match also highlighted the continued growth of U13 players Mateo Guerra and Aldo Barrera, who have earned important roles within the U14 group. U13s Deliver Strong Performance 

The U13s delivered a strong 8-1 performance against Capital City, with Ronen Addo (7'), Nathan Akrout (9' 18'), Teodor Sokolovic (16', 80'), Abel Garcia (25'), Thiago Cibrian (41'), and Yadiel Chapa (68') contributing to the scoring. The group showed aggression and confidence in its high press while competing strongly in duels and consistently looking to break lines in possession. U18s Face Tough Test 

The U18s fell 1-0 to Capital City U19 in a tightly contested match. Austin maintained good control throughout the game but was unable to break down Capital City's low block before conceding on a counterattack. Austin FC Academy continues to build through every match, with each group taking valuable lessons and experiences into the next challenge.
