Austin FC and 4ATX Foundation are happy to announce that, starting this spring, EVO is the official sponsor of the Verde Leaders program at Bedichek Middle School. Employees recently volunteered as coaches and mentors at a weeknight session, where they supported coaches in leading activities that combined soccer with social-emotional learning, restorative practices, and mindfulness, while also delivering care packages with Evo gamecards for each student in attendance.

“We are so grateful to Evo for their sponsorship of the Verde Leaders program at Bedichek and look forward to the many ways in which students and families will benefit from this partnership with Austin FC and 4ATX Foundation” said 4ATX Foundation Executive Director Kaitlin Mauro. “With their help, the Verde Leaders program has provided high-quality out-of-school programming for over 120 students at Bedichek Middle School throughout this school year.”

Each student in the program at Bedichek will receive an Adidas Verde Leaders jersey with an EVO logo on the sleeve for use throughout the fall and spring seasons. In the fall, students will have the opportunity to take a field trip to the EVO Entertainment Center in Kyle, TX to learn about the business, entrepreneurship, and personal development. The day will be finished with students enjoying the facilities’ many amenities at no cost.

"It's truly inspiring to witness the impactful initiatives undertaken by 4ATX right here in Central Texas. We're thankful for the chance to lend our support to Verde Leaders,” said EVO Culture Manager Jamie Roberts. “Immersing ourselves in hands-on experiences alongside the students was an enriching event and we are excited for future events with Bedichek Middle School. We eagerly await the opportunity to welcome them to EVO Entertainment this upcoming fall."

Verde Leaders is a feature program of 4ATX Foundation, Austin FC’s nonprofit arm, and provides free, year-round soccer and educational programming for low-income youth from the greater Austin area. The program aims for all its students to have the life skills and community support they need to become the next generation of leaders on and off the pitch.
