Anthony Precourt, Founder, Majority Owner, and Chief Executive Officer

Anthony Precourt is the Founder, Majority Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Austin FC and Two Oak Ventures. Austin FC is Major League Soccer’s 27th member club playing at Q2 Stadium, a 100% privately financed $260 million state of the art, soccer-specific stadium located near The Domain in Austin. Austin FC's training grounds are located at the St. David's Performance Center, a 100% privately financed $45 million training facility in Austin located just seven miles from Q2 Stadium.

Precourt originated and led all planning efforts to bring Austin its first major league team, playing a key role in both the negotiation and finalization of the historic lease and development agreement with City of Austin for the 24-acre property where Q2 Stadium now resides and the expansion club’s charter agreements with Major League Soccer.

Under Precourt’s leadership, Austin FC ultimately secured six (6) founding partners for its inaugural 2021 season: YETI, Q2, St. David’s Healthcare, Diageo, PointsBet, and Netspend. In 2021, Austin FC was the only club in MLS to sell out 100 percent of its home matches, led the league in merchandise sales, and ranked second in sponsorship sales, successes which culminated in the Club being nominated for Sports Business Journal’s Sports Team of the Year award and Precourt being named Austin Business Journal's 2022 Best CEO of the Year.

Since 2008, Precourt has served as the Managing Partner of Precourt Capital Management, a private investment firm and family office advisor. From 2001 to 2008, Precourt was a portfolio manager and Director of Research for WHV Investment Management, a $12 billion public equity investment management company. Precourt started his career with financial analyst roles at both Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Banc Alex Brown.

Precourt and his family have prioritized strong commitments to philanthropy through both the Precourt Foundation, and the 4ATX Foundation.

Precourt received a BA in Political Science from Pepperdine University and later earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Precourt, his wife Agatha, and their three children enjoy fishing, boating, and skiing and love to travel the world.
