For the fifth consecutive year, 4ATX Foundation has partnered with Capital Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA) to offer club soccer scholarships to local young players.

This year, 4ATX and CAYSA are offering two types of scholarship: the Roots Scholarship for U4-U19 players participating in local CAYSA leagues (Academy, D2, D3 and D4 levels), and the Oak Scholarship presented by Austin FC partner Managed Facility Solutions (MFS)for older U12-U19 athletes who participate in elite leagues (WDDOA, ECNL, USYS State Classic League, MLS NEXT, USYS Frontier Conference, etc.).

"4ATX Foundation is delighted to continue our partnership with CAYSA for a fifth consecutive year," said Kaitlin Mauro, 4ATX Foundation Executive Director. "This ongoing collaboration expands access to the sport of soccer for young athletes throughout Central Texas. We are particularly excited to announce a new scholarship in partnership with MFS, targeting older athletes who demonstrate a strong passion for both soccer and community."

Through these scholarships, 4ATX is fulfilling their mission to get people playing and easing the financial burdens associated with playing competitive soccer. 4ATX Foundation’s total investment in youth club scholarships now exceeds $150,000.

Capitol Area Youth Soccer Association is a 501(c)3 nonprofit serving young people and their communities in central Texas via the administration of US Youth Soccer. “We are so thankful for the continued relationship with 4ATX Foundation. Since the beginning of their annual scholarship, over 170 CAYSA players have benefitted from having their club player fees paid in full” said CAYSA President David Buckler. “With the growth of soccer in the greater Austin area, we are excited that the scholarship will be divided into two categories to make sure that all players affiliated with a CAYSA club will be eligible for the scholarship.”
