4ATX Foundation has partnered with Street Soccer USA and the Adam R. Scripps Foundation to bring a new permanent soccer space to North Austin. As part of 4ATX Foundation’s ongoing commitment to making soccer more accessible across Central Texas, the Adam R. Scripps Street Soccer Park at Walnut Creek Elementary School will serve as a home for free soccer programming and youth development opportunities just up the road from Q2 Stadium.
“4ATX Foundation is proud to partner in bringing this new soccer space right down the road from Q2 Stadium,” said 4ATX Foundation Executive Director Kaitlin Mauro. “Access to welcoming spaces to play can open doors for young people both on and off the field. We’re excited to see this pitch create more opportunities for connection, growth, and leadership through soccer.”
This new park builds on 4ATX Foundation’s work to create more opportunities for young people to thrive through soccer. From developing accessible places to play, to using the game to teach social-emotional skills and encourage leadership, 4ATX works alongside community partners to help create a healthier, more connected Central Texas.
In 2025, Austin FC and 4ATX Foundation joined Street Soccer USA, Austin Parks Foundation and Soccer Assist to establish the Verde Pitch Alliance, committing $2 million toward the development of more free, public soccer spaces across the region. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to reducing barriers to play and ensuring more communities can experience the benefits of soccer.
The Adam R. Scripps Street Soccer Park represents another step in that work, bringing a permanent soccer space and expanded programming opportunities to the Walnut Creek community.
