2026 Season to Kick Off with "Verde Week"

Austin FC announced today a series of free-to-attend festivities, dubbed Verde Week, throughout the week leading up to the Club’s 2026 Home Opener presented by Q2 on Saturday, February 21 against Minnesota United FC (7:30 p.m. CT | TICKETS).

The week begins with Family Fest on Sunday, February 15 at The Domain Northside. The event from 3:00-5:00 p.m. will feature an appearance by Austin FC midfielders Dani Pereira and Owen Wolff, live music, luchador Verdisimo, and the Verde Van.

On Tuesday, as in each of its five (5) previous seasons, the Club will host a community tree planting at LBJ Early College High School from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m., alongside partners Keep Austin Beautiful.

Fans can then meet and greet newly-acquired Designated Player Facundo Torres at The VERDE Store at Q2 Stadium from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18.

The Club and founding partner YETI will host the YETI 2026 Season Kickoff Party at the YETI Flagship store on South Congress from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, with discounts available on all items in the store, live music by Curtis Lee, and an appearance by an Austin FC player.

On Friday, February 20, Verde Verde Verde Fest will take place at Radio East from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., a season kickoff party hosted by independent supporters group La Murga de Austin. Finally, in the buildup to kickoff on Saturday, February 21, Live Oak Park outside Q2 Stadium’s east side will host a Pre-Match Party open to the public from 4:30 to 6:45 p.m.

The Pre-Match Party will feature live music from Los Kurados, $4 Michelob Ultra, Bud Light, Dos Equis, Heineken, and Hoop Tea, facepainting, and more.
