September 21 – GaNiece DeNali
GaNiece Denali is a fifth-grade teacher at Barbara Jordan Elementary and a go-to support teacher for her colleagues. Originally from South Bend Indiana, she found her way to the Leander area where she commutes over an hour to be with her students. She finds ways to be the best representative for them, inside and outside the classroom.
In the summer, she continues to be a source of encouragement and a positive role model for low-income students. GaNiece knows how imperative it is to be present within her community both for her students and colleagues.
