Austin FC II added Omar Jarun as the team’s new assistant coach, the club announced today. Jarun joins Head Coach Brett Uttley’s staff ahead of the team’s final two matches of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro regular season.
Jarun joins having previously served as an assistant coach with Huntsville City FC in MLS NEXT Pro and Atlanta United 2 in the USL Championship. He also coached multiple age groups within the Atlanta United Academy and was the head coach of USL League Two side Peachtree City MOBA in 2018.
His career also includes stops at the collegiate level as an assistant coach at the University of North Georgia and Clayton State University.
