Austin FC II return home from a long month of travel to face Sporting KC II at Parmer Field. The Verde & Black will go up against SKCII Friday evening for a 7:30 p.m. CT kickoff. The match will be available to watch on Apple TV with MLS Season Pass.

Austin FC II will host Sporting KC II for the team’s seventh home match and 14th match overall of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro regular season.
The Verde & Black return home with the extra point from their match against Portland Timbers2. Micah Burton supplied the team with a late goal to send the match to penalties. Goalkeeper Charlie Farrar made a key save with both teams scoring four of their first five attempts. Diego Abarca sealed the deal with a goal in sudden death that sent Austin FC II into 9th in the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference rankings.
ATXFC II face Sporting KC II at home for the second time this season. During their last meetup, the teams produced a scoreless draw that went to penalties. The Verde & Black won that shootout to take the extra point.
Sporting KC II Outlook
Sporting KC II come off a loss on the road against Houston Dynamo 2, whom the team lost to in its season opener as well.
New head coach Istvan Urbanyi and the team have yet to win a match in regulation as they sit at the bottom of the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference rankings with eight losses and four draws, only one of which resulted an extra point for the team. Sporting KC II has shown strong collective effort with seven different players tallying goals for the team.
