Austin FC II stay home to face Los Angeles FC 2 under the lights at Parmer Field. The Verde & Black will go up against LAFC2 Friday evening for a 7:30 p.m. CT kickoff. The match will be available to watch on Apple TV with MLS Season Pass.

Austin FC II Outlook

Austin FC II host Los Angeles FC 2 for the team’s eighth home match and 15th match overall of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro regular season.

The Verde & Black come off a home win with a goal by Jorge Alastuey to claim all three points over Sporting KC II. Austin FC II showcased another strong offensive effort throughout the match with goalkeeper Charlie Farrar making two key saves to keep Sporting KC II off the board. ATXFC II has now lost only once in its last eight matches with the most recent win sending the team above the playoff line.

Austin FC II holds two wins in its three matches against LAFC2. The Verde & Black’s last match ended in a loss where they maintained the lead until LAFC2 found the net in added time.

Los Angeles FC 2 Outlook

LAFC2’s second-year head coach Othoniel “Junior” Gonzalez and the team travel down South for a holiday match. The Black and Gold are currently ranked 12th in the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference.

Los Angeles FC 2 come off a loss against the Tacoma Defiance in a home match. LAFC2 fell behind 2-0 early but managed to tie the game in the 79th minute. However, Tacoma scored again in the 83rd minute to win the match.

LAFC2’s key offensive threats are Matt Evans and Jude Terry, who lead the team with four goals and four assists respectively.
